Buy-in
This is the price to pay in order to participate to a Tournament. The sum of all the buy-ins is added into the pot and is given to the winner of the tournament. The pot, in fact, represents the amount of chips that you bring to the table when you take a seat. Each table has minimum buy-ins and maximum buy-ins.
Freezeout
The players who have no chip left are stumped.
Re-buy
Possibility of bringing chips during the game but not in the middle of a hand. This applies to the real mode and to the tournaments. In general, this possibility is limited.
Add-on
During a break in a tournament all players are permitted to buy more chips, including those who still have some,. Once the eventual add-on has been made, the games recommence in a way similar to a freezeout (the players who don't have anymore chips are stumped). Detailed cards of tournaments specify if they are in Freezeout mode or Rebuy and if they include (or do not) possibilities of Add-on.
